Sofie is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a trained trauma and resilience practitioner (CTRP-C). She is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor. Sofie attended American University in Washington, DC and obtained her bachelor of arts degree in psychology. After graduating from college, she attended Loyola University to earn her master of science in counseling psychology. Sofie has experience working as a therapist within an outpatient substance abuse clinic in Baltimore City, a community based mental health agency, and as part of a school based mental health program.

In her practice, Sofie uses evidence-based interventions and techniques to meet clients where they are and explore their full potential. She works with clients to uncover their challenges with curiosity and openness. Sofie understands the importance of having a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore life's ups and downs, and makes it a priority to help clients feel both comfortable and understood.
